Individual Yoga Therapy

As a yoga therapist, I get to work with individuals that have completed physical therapy or post-op recovery, and are looking for continued healing or to reduce pain without pharmaceuticals.
There are numerous benefits of integrating Yoga Therapy modalities with allopathic medicine. For instance, the rate of rehospitalization decreases dramatically when we teach and empower our clients toward their own health. Giving clients empowerment enables the client to feel more in control of their lives. Having more empowerment over our lives creates a sense of well being and therefore alleviates suffering.
Yoga Therapy gently guides the client to face their current situation head on. It is at this point, that the client can then leave the path of pain and suffering and enter the cross road of turning towards healing to deeply change their life. Learning to let go of our preconceived ideas of how we think things should be and accepting things as they are leads us down the path of true empowerment and healing.
A yogi tries to help the whole person. After a lengthy intake form, we will discuss your goals and priorities. I will create a 6-week course schedule for you. Over the course of our work together, we will discuss breath practices, physical alignment, meditation, core muscle engagement, balance and stability, chanting, pain reduction, and more!
You will receive three detailed homework documents via email during a 6-week course to help move the practice off the mat and into your new lifestyle.

Teach, share, and guide yoga in ways that support and inspire others to be as awake, vibrant, and filled with awe in every moment of life.
We are no longer limited by geography. Log into a 1:1 Individualized Zoom yoga class from where ever you are. Please remember you have to pay first to receive the password. Please allow 5-7 days to coordinate & schedule first class.

Yoga Therapy Details
Classes are available in your home in person ($25 Travel Fee if located farther than 15 mile radius away) or through Zoom. Hosting churches and locations are sometimes available as practice locations also.
All In-person Individual Sessions will be charged $20 if cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment.
1:1 Yoga Therapy Sessions are not listed on the schedule.
Exclusive Group Classes (2-10 participants) are not open to the public, or listed on the schedule. Examples include: Bridal parties, MOPS, Bible Study groups, etc.
Great for post-op and injury recovery since students receive individualized movement programs and attention.
6-week paid in full participants relieve a total of three printable detailed homework pdf documents with descriptions and images for home practice.
All levels welcome.
Recommended Supplies: Yoga mat, block, and strap.
Options:
Initial consultation, 30/minutes = $50
1 participant, 60/minutes = $75/hour
6-week individual course, paid in full = $429
Travel Fee = $25 (applicable to all in-person locations outside a 15-mile radius of my office)
Yoga through the Zoom app: Using a computer, tablet or phone you are able to log into this class and participate in real time.
