The story of Easter is one of love and redemption. It reminds us that no matter how dark things may seem, there is always light ahead. Jesus conquered the grave, proving that God’s love is greater than anything we could ever face. For those who need a refresher, Easter is one of the principal Holy Days of Christianity. It's the final day of Holy Week, which begins with Palm Sunday to signify when Jesus enters the city of Jerusalem, leads to Good Friday to honor Christ's death by crucifixion, then ends with Easter to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus. For many Christians, Easter also marks the joyous conclusion to Lent, a season of devoted prayer, fasting, and penitence. The holiday is a reminder to give thanks to Christ after He gave the ultimate sacrifice for our sins to grant eternal life to those who believe in Him.
